Five evacuees during a fire in Oslo

There was a lot of burning on the ground floor of a residential building in Bjerke in Oslo when emergency services arrived there just before 12:30 on Monday night.

Smoke divers from firefighters entered the house and searched it. At the same time, other crews began to put out the fire.

Police announced on Twitter at 12:24 a.m. that it was on fire when emergency services arrived.

At the same time, the fire department switchboard 110 reported that the extinction had begun and that it was not known if there were people in the house.

After some time, the police discovered that five people had been evacuated from the burning house. The smoke divers searched the house without finding anyone.

After a half-hour effort on site, the 110 exchange announced that the fire had been extinguished. The extinction continued for a time overnight.
