NRK’s comedy series “The First Time Service” with Herman Flesvig continues to attract millions of Norwegians. When the first two episodes were released in December of last year, they broke all records, with viewership figures of 370,000 and 335,000 respectively during the first weekend.
In early October, NRK published another five episodes of the series. It has had a domino effect. The first pilot episodes have already been watched by more than three million, reports Kampanje.
The series has also set a record for first week plays in a Norwegian and Nordic context.
– The launch of the first full season of the First Time Service has given an audience in the player that we have never seen before. Just over a week after the premiere, more than 1.4 million people have streamed the first episode. This corresponds to 32 percent of the population. The corresponding figure for the entire season is currently 25 percent. There is at least one flow record during the first week in the Norwegian context, and so far we have also managed to examine the Nordic record, media analyst Iacob Christian Prebensen at NRK tells Dagbladet.

During the first weekend of October, 1.3 million Norwegians watched the two most recent episodes, and the remaining three were just under a million.
