ASK / OSLO (Dagbladet): Large cracks in the ground have been found in an area north of Ask in Gjerdrum, where a large landslide occurred on Wednesday morning.
This is confirmed by the chief of police operations, Roger Pettersen, in a press release on Thursday afternoon.
– A new situation has arisen north of the accident site. It is in the Kogstad farm area at fv 120. We have previously received reports of concern about instability on the ground, says police task leader Roger Pettersen.
Around 46 people have been evacuated from there, after NVE geologists surveyed the area.
– There are visible cracks in the ground and signs of landslides, says NVE regional manager Toril Hofshagen in the press release.
