At 08.07 on Friday morning, the police were notified of a gun fight inside Shell at Marienlyst in Oslo.
When the police arrived at the scene, one person had fled the scene, while the 18-year-old male employee at the gas station was found with head injuries.
– The employee was bleeding a lot from the head. Scissors and a knife were used in the fight, operations manager Gjermund Stokkli in the Oslo police district tells TV 2.
Soon after, the police caught up with the other person who participated in the fight. He too had suffered injuries.
– Both the 18-year-old employee and the arrestee in his 20s have been taken to the emergency room. The employee has received a large cut to the head. The extent of the damage is serious, but not critical, says Stokkli.
The operations manager says that there seems to be a relationship between the two who are fighting.
– We are investigating both the possibility that there is a relationship between them, but also if it was a robbery, says Stokkli.
Police know nothing about the background to the fight, as they have not yet questioned the parties.
At 09.25 am, the police report that both men are charged in the case. Both have been arrested and taken into custody.
– We create personal injury and threat cases.
Police have seized both the scissors and the knife used in the fight.
