A spokesperson for the New York Police Department confirmed that Sakash died of natural causes as a result of an atherosclerotic disease, according to The Independent.

After the award-winning production designer was reported missing six months ago, family members and acquaintances raised money through GoFundMe’s “Let’s Find Evelyn” campaign.
