Emmy winner and set designer Evelyn Sakash (66) was found dead in her home on Tuesday this week, after being reported missing since September last year.
The 66-year-old deceased was found among garbage and scrap metal in the kitchen of the apartment in the New York borough of Queens.

A spokesperson for the New York Police Department confirmed that Sakash died of natural causes as a result of an atherosclerotic disease, according to The Independent.
After the award-winning production designer was reported missing six months ago, family members and acquaintances raised money through GoFundMe’s “Let’s Find Evelyn” campaign.

Sakash was found dead by cleaning staff, whom the sister had hired to clean the 66-year-old woman’s home.
Established in hollywood
Sakash was an established Hollywood set designer. In 2003, he won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Production Design for the television series “Between the Lions.”
In later years she worked as a production designer on television series and films such as “Orange Is the New Black”, “Allegra’s Window” and “Mermaids”.
Sakash was also known to be a so-called hoarder, hoarding and hiding items.
