The Norwegian national team player again impressed for AC Milan in the Europa League.

SPARTA PRAHA – AC MILAN 0-1:

So far Hauge hasn’t played for a permanent spot in the great Italian club’s starting lineup, but there’s little doubt that the Norwegian continues to put up good applications for him.

On Thursday night, he gained confidence early on in the Europa League away game against Sparta Prague, and Hauge appreciated the confidence.

The Norwegian scored the only goal of the match and ensured that AC Milan won Group H of the Europa League.

TV 2 expert and former national team player Erik Huseklepp is one of many who may be impressed with Hauge.

– It is on fire. It’s very well done, says Huseklepp of Hauge’s touchdown on Thursday.

Cheated by punishment

Hauge’s goal came in the 23rd minute. Until then, the local team, Sparta Prague, had pushed the Milan visitors, but never managed to create big chances.

However, Hauge managed to do it, dancing very well into the Sparta penalty area, before putting the ball on the post. Like we’ve seen him do it so many times before.

Somewhat later in the inning, Hauge again created trouble for the home team. This time he took a tunnel at Filip Soucek, but the Norwegian was stopped by the Czech.

The referee ruined the game even more, but TV 2 expert Erik Thorstvedt has no doubts about what the referee should have done.

– It’s a penalty. There’s no question, says Thorstvedt.

Good control

Sparta Prague tried to come back after the break, but AC Milan seemed to be in good control.

The home team worked hard to get through the middle and as a result had a good chance to win back a goal when Dominik Plechaty tried to lift the ball over goalkeeper Rafael Leao.

AC Milan had good transitions towards the end of the match, but did not take chances. He still had little to say about the end result.

The Milan team won 1-0 and are therefore ready for the Europa League round of 16 as a group winner.
