Erling Braut Haaland has been on the front page of most major newspapers lately, but now it’s a former general midfielder who has signed up for the top talent tribute.

Now former United profile Paul Scholes has spoken on the podcast Webby and O’Neill about the situation.

With Edinson Cavani heading out the doors of Old Trafford, it’s obvious they are looking for reinforcements at the top, and Scholes believes there are several good alternatives.

Scholes goes on to explain why it is precisely Haaland that he wants, and he does not skimp on superlatives.
– He is the best forward there is, and the fact that he is only 20 years old is silly. If he signs him now, he will have ten years with him as a forward. With Harry Kane, you get maybe two or three years of the best quality, so Haaland is the one to choose, he concludes.
Erling Braut Haaland’s team still has the advantage of saying something about their future, but it’s clear they have plans on where they want to send the star forward.
