On Monday, the 37-year-old man shared a portrait of himself on Instagram, which should have a good positive response, but also something negative. Several have voiced their views on the image, and some wonder if the TV profile has been overly enthusiastic in Photoshop.

– I think the photo is excellent. That photo was taken by a photographer and they sent it to me that way. In fact, photoshop isn’t that much, just a little color correction, he says.

He also notes that neither the size of the nose nor the lips have changed, and that the image was the same when he received it.

The photographer behind the photo, Petter Alnes-Bonesmo, confirms that he has edited the images, but refutes the use of Photoshop and superficial tools.

Erlend Elias says that he is used to being criticized and that it no longer affects him. He notes that he has been in business for a long time and knows what it means.

The 37-year-old man points out that he has been training a lot in the past few months and has therefore lost a lot of weight, which he believes helps highlight the contour of his face in the photos.

However, it urges people not to be limited by the opinions of others and, at the same time, it strongly attacks the Jodel application, which allows people to pronounce anonymous opinions of hate.

– I’m not there to follow Jodel. It is for the simple reason that there is an app and a community that should have been illegal. If people comment rudely on my photo, on my profile, that’s fine, then I can see who they are, but on Jodel it’s anonymous. These are stupid people, and I think that shouldn’t be the law, he concludes.

This is not the first time that users of the application have been allowed to post annoying comments. Anonymous forums have been under discussion for several years, and various apps have been wiped out or outlawed over time due to their ability to bully anonymously.

Despite this, Jodel has remained a part of many people’s lives, and it is still possible for people to express hatred in the anonymous app.

In 2017, several bloggers, including Andrea Sveinsdottir and Sofie Nilsen, struggled with the app and its contribution to online bullying.

At the same time, Jodel’s public relations manager Barbora Galandakova told VG that she wanted to end bullying in the app. However, about a week later, comments were still shared on the app.

Speaking to the newspaper, Galandakova emphasized that Jodel is actively removing posts that violate the service’s guidelines.

Also Silas Massa Vasstrand (22), known for the TV show 2 “Funkyfam”, was exposed earlier this year to the hidden powers of the app.

The 22-year-old received serious charges against him through the anonymous application, when a user claimed to have seen him violent with his girlfriend, Victoria Andersen, one night in the city.

The charges, on the other hand, dismissed both Silas and Victoria against Se and Hør in February.
