According to the local newspaper, the Bergens club will announce its new assistant coach.
On Friday night, Brann posted a message on his website inviting the press to Brann Stadium before the team’s practice on Sunday.
According to BA, the club will introduce Eirik Horneland as a new assistant manager.
– It’s probably no surprise to anyone after the last days of writing, but as far as BA knows, Brann calls the press conference to announce that Eirik Horneland is Kåre Ingebrigtsen’s new assistant. Horneland himself will be present at the Stadium, writes the newspaper.

The press session will begin at 2:45 pm on Sunday. Kåre Ingebrigtsen and sporting director Rune Soltvedt will be present, says Brann.
The club says they will not give any comments before Sunday’s press conference.
On Saturday, Brann plays away against Mjøndalen at the Consto Arena.
Last week, Kåre Ingebrigtsen informed Robert Hauge that he was no longer wanted as an assistant in Branns’ A-team.
Horneland coached FK Haugesund before replacing Kåre Ingebrigtsen at Rosenborg in 2019. Now the two former Rosenborg coaches will work together at Brann. Horneland was fired as Rosenborg’s manager in June this year.
– I am very disappointed that we did not manage to build a strong and successful RBK, but I have learned to love the club, the players and all of Trøndelag. I wish Rosenborg all possible progress for the future, Horneland said in the press release when he finished at the club.
