Donald Trump: – Total confusion around the New Years party

In less than a month, it’s over. Donald (74) and Melania Trump (50) have to pack their bags and leave the White House, whether they want to or not. The position and ownership then pass to Joe Biden, who in recent months has expressed his joy at being able to correct his predecessor.

Before that time, however, the president had plans to host a grand final party as president. The new year will be called and Trump had plans to celebrate it at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. Usually this is where you celebrate the New Year and you had no plans to let a pandemic stop you.

The next president of the United States, Joe Biden, took a hard line against the Trump administration during a press conference.

Around 500 people were scheduled to participate, after purchasing tickets for Spinnville 10,000 kronor each. Now, however, it seems that there are changes in the plans, at least for the hosts.

On Thursday, CNN may report that the Trump couple will not celebrate in Florida, but will return home to Washington DC. The change also appears on the president’s official schedule.

Some US media see the striking feature in relation to the fact that Senator John Hawkley has forced a vote in the Senate on whether the election results can be declared valid or not. Voting will take place on January 6.

As is well known, since election night, the president has made accusations of cheating and cheating, and has the advantage of acknowledging that his democratic competitor won the election.

The question now is what happens to the guests who have paid expensive lawsuits to party on Trump’s property. Amid a pandemic that has killed more than 300,000 Americans, the party is reportedly going according to plan.

Jennifer Jacobs, a Bloomberg political reporter, writes the following about the party Twitter:

“Trump and the first lady leave Mar-a-Lago the day before and return to the White House at 11 am. They miss the New Year’s party for which hundreds have bought tickets,” he writes.

The beard in the mailbox

The New Years party has been a tradition for Donald Trump since 2000, often rolling out the red carpet and inviting the press. It all peaked in 2017, when the president had up to 800 guests at the party, according to the Palm Beach Post.

It won’t happen this year. It is not yet known what the guests who have paid to be present will do. If they bought a ticket in hopes of meeting the president, at least now they are with their beards in the mailbox.

By the way, this will be the second time in two years that the president ditches his own New Years party. In 2018, Melania had to host alone, due to the closure of the state apparatus that occurred from December 22 to January 25.

The fact that Trump is fleeing the sunny property may have something to do with a case that CNN wrote in late December. It was alleged that the president was very unhappy with the renovation works that have been carried out on his private part of the property. It is Melania Trump who has had the aesthetic responsibility, but should not have fallen in love.

The White House has yet to comment on either the New Year’s Eve party or the renovation speculation.
