The doctor who was fired by President Donald Trump is in the heat of Joe Biden.
NEW YORK (Nettavisen): Incoming US President Joe Biden is establishing a crown committee that will be chaired by the former head of the US Federal Public Health Agency, Vivek Murthy.
The doctor also gave a speech at the Democrats’ national convention in August this year, where he spoke warmly about Joe Biden. Watch the video of his speech on top of the case.

Murthy was, surprisingly to many, fired by Trump in April 2017. But now he’s in the heat again and gets a prominent position from Biden.

Biden’s new crowning committee, which will prepare a plan for work against the pandemic, will also include former FDA chief David Kessler and Yale University professor and researcher Marcella Nunez-Smith.
In all, Biden’s new crown committee is made up of 13 doctors and researchers.
He called the gun violence “a threat to the health of the United States.”
Murthy, who was appointed director of the US Federal Public Health Agency by President Barack Obama, is a strong supporter of both gun control and Obamacare.
Murthy was controversial when he called firearm violence “a threat to the health of the United States,” also sparking opposition from the National Rifle Association NRA.

The NRA is known for the slogan “Guns don’t kill, people kill” and takes a hard line against politicians and others who try to toughen gun laws in the United States.
Nine American presidents have served as members of the NRA over the years, including Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George HW Bush and Donald Trump, writes NTB.
After the doctor was fired, the New York Times reported that Murthy was first asked to leave the job, which he refused, and that, therefore, he was fired by the Trump administration.
Biden: Another 200,000 Americans will die
There is still a long way to go, despite the good news about vaccines, warns incoming US President Joe Biden after the first meeting with his crown committee.
– Our country is in danger, said the incoming president to emphasize the severity of the pandemic, which has claimed nearly 250,000 lives in the United States. He estimates that another 200,000 lives will be lost before a vaccine is available.
“The United States still has a very dark winter ahead due to the coronavirus,” Biden said at a news conference in Wilmington on Monday.
He also urged all Americans to wear face masks in public. Biden says science will guide him when faced with the corona pandemic.
– It is not a political act to wear a mask, says Biden.
The United States has more than 10 million infected and about 245,000 people have died as a result of the virus.
