Donald Trump supporter and businessman Fredric Eshelman sued the group True the Vote, which was created to expose voter fraud in connection with the US presidential elections. The group promised to sue seven states that tip.
Vague answers
Eshelman writes in his lawsuit that True the Vote has not kept its promise and is now demanding the recovery of $ 2.5 million, about 22 million crowns, that it donated to them, report Bloomberg and The Guardian.
Eshelman claims that he repeatedly asked the group for updates, but that True the Vote must have greeted him with vague answers and empty promises.
The group responds
Founder Catherin Engelbrecht says they dropped their plans to sue Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, which Joe Biden won. He also claims that his work is about something much bigger than just this presidential election, and that it is time to repair the system for the sake of future elections.
President Trump has made a number of allegations of voter fraud in connection with the 2020 presidential election, for which no evidence has been produced.
