Trump has flayed Kemp, who is a Republican, for not calling the state legislature to give him victory in the election in place of Joe Biden.
Without naming Trump by name, Kemp said Friday that the people must come to terms with reality and that the spread of conspiracy theories about the election must end.
– If people have objections to something I have done, they can come to me. They do not need to bother my wife and daughters, or the wives and daughters of other officials, he said.
– If you are brave enough to come out from behind the keyboard, we can have a chat, he continued.
Kemp says his daughters have been posted on social media and his daughter has received hateful messages with crazy conspiracy theories about the death of her partner, who lost his life in a recent car accident.
He says he has a good relationship with Trump and understands his frustration, but that he must follow the laws and rules.
Trump believes he won the Georgia election, even though three tallies of all votes show that Biden won 12,600 more votes than Trump.
