DN: Oslo Ap received notifications against the deputy mayor in Oslo

The warnings came at the same time that there was a fierce battle for the nomination in which Gunaratnam took second place on the Oslo Labor Party list for parliamentary elections.

Dagens Næringsliv has obtained information about the alerts and the surrounding process. Two of the three notifications have been processed by the audit and control committee of the Oslo side, which does not believe that the notifications have any connection to each other.

The warnings are about how Gunaratnam has behaved in relation to a network called Generation Y and the # Hunbørstille social media campaign.

– There have been some inquiries in the nomination process. They are of a different nature, have been prosecuted by the party office and no breach of party guidelines has been found, Gunaratnam told the newspaper. She says she has wanted to contribute to new recruiting channels and “culture of joy.”

In its recommendation, the Audit and Control Board writes “it is very serious to be notified against such a key person, who has been given a lot of power by the county team, by virtue of all his positions. The whistleblowers appear to fear that he used his power to target, freeze and intimidate through informal networks.

The third notice, presented by Nordstrand Ap leader Sarah Gaulin, sent the committee to the party’s headquarters in Youngstorget.

– I delivered the warning because I could not keep quiet about the methods that were used to climb at the party, Gaulin tells DN.
