TRONDHEIM (Dagbladet): On Friday morning, Ingvild Kjerkol took a firm stand against Arild Grande, who has chaired the election committee on the county team.
The election committee appointed Marit Bjerkås as the new county leader on Friday, but Dagbladet knows that Kjerkol was the first election earlier that day, until Grande put her foot down. She threatened to resign if Kjerkol won first place.
Arild Grande also told the election committee that there could be a warning in Kjerkol if she was nominated for a new county leader.

Dagbladet can now say that Grande also told the committee who the warning about Kjerkol might have come from: himself.
According to Dagbladet sources, Grande told the election committee that the warning that could come to Kjerkol “very well” could come from him, who had “experienced Kjerkol” through a long life in politics in Nord-Trøndelag.
According to sources, Grande said the warning would be about Kjerkol’s “culture of power” and use of force in a negative sense. Grande is not seeking a Storting nomination and will enter national politics next fall.
Arild Grande does not want to comment on the case to Dagbladet.

Trond Giske surprised everyone by attending Trøndelag Labor Party’s annual meeting for two days after he was ousted as leader, while Kjerkol raged against Grande in the morning.

Dagbladet learned early Saturday morning that Kjerkol will challenge Bjerkås on the administration job through a bank proposal.
Dagbladet also knows that Bjerkås will not withdraw his candidacy and therefore will go against the party vote on a county team that is already divided in its opinion of Trond Giske.
Giske still received applause and thanks from the rostrum today.
Party secretary Kjersti Stenseng in the Labor Party says threats of possible warnings should not be used as an argument. Now announces a review of what happened.
“Threats of possible warnings, of course, should not be used as an argument in a nominating committee,” Stenseng told TV 2.
