The Premier League can have a chaotic summer: curls on all sides
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has reopened the door for possible Premier League games. But for now it’s much easier said than done by getting the billion-dollar store to open again.
This is a comment. The comment expresses the attitude of the writer.
Nearly 225,000 people have been infected in the UK, 32,000 have died and authorities have had difficulty evaluating the ability and gaining control of the virus situation.
With this as a backdrop, it’s easy to argue that the most justifiable thing would have been to scrap the plan to play the remaining 92 games in the Premier League, and that the discussion should be about the best possible solution to that premise.

But “Project Restart” is still alive, and for many soccer fans it was a riot when the Prime Minister spoke about the “drive” to be able to watch TV broadcast matches again. Still, a solution is demanding to find.
The representatives of the 20 clubs have had several conversations about the way to go, where conflicts of interest confront each other. Now, a new meeting next Monday could be important.
The most important question is whether the remaining matches should be played or not. Also, there is the problem that there are so many lines of conflict with settlement and cancellation.
Here are 10 key themes:
1) Player safety and situation it’s an obvious topic, and here Danny Rose joins the ranks of those who clearly express skepticism about playing ball again under the prevailing circumstances. “You shouldn’t even talk about football until the numbers have dropped significantly,” the 29-year-old said in a statement reproduced in various British media. Also someone like Sergio Agüero has previously expressed skepticism, and the case of Brighton did not strengthen the case of reopening.

2) Neutral courses or own courses. Several of the clubs threatened with relegation are extremely busy with their own home advantage. But the probability of obtaining a definitive yes for security reasons may soon be much less if a scheme is made using ordinary sands.
3) Insurance problems It has been built in the archipelago, depending on how the coverage of different actors receives different forms of scenarios in the future. This is what is covered and what is not covered, and how premiums may affect the economy in the future.

4) To cancel the entire season It is the most extreme option. Of course, it would have been comfortable for them at the bottom, but a similar disaster for Liverpool’s gold rush. However, it now appears that the FA Football League will set foot for such a variation.
5) Points-based classification per match It may be the answer that the season cannot be completed, but a lot may indicate a legal delay to come. With so much money at stake, some clubs are unlikely to agree to withdraw without trying in court.
6) Drop the descent and temporarily expand the league It is a stage that also has its fighters, and then, of course, mainly among those who want to benefit from it. Can we let Norwich, Aston Villa and Bournemouth stay, while Leeds and West Bromwich can make the journey? But what about Fulham, Brentford, Nottingham Forest and others who could secure their millionth carrot through qualification?

7) The huge sums of TV It is the backbone of a gigantic economy and absolutely crucial in the fight for 38 rounds. But the content of the contracts is unknown, and it is an open question what repayment schemes may be relevant. According to the Evening Standard newspaper, it can be expensive for clubs versus licensees, even if there are closed booth games.
8) What about soccer fans? What if fans do what football fans like to do, get together, even if it’s not allowed? Who is responsible if we have scenes like PSG-Dortmund? In Germany there is talk that it will be synonymous with losses of the local team, but what if it is a local settlement and it is not clear who collects more?

9) The infection classifies itself It is ugly in the UK, and it is a game of chance how things will be as society gradually reopens. Where is the threshold to withdraw a possible green light if the crown situation recedes in the island kingdom?
10) Play in Premier League clubs It should have provided a 100-point entry, addressing various medical and health conditions related to a potential startup. There were some comments on how many of the doctors were behind this, but input is nonetheless a factor in a complicated puzzle.
So where does this land? With so many billions at stake and a government that has given the little finger, it will be a long time before the Premier League does not find a solution that takes all the hand. But as good as it turns out to be, only history can show us.
