A man in Tønsberg is said to have harassed customers and was handled by the police.

– The police handle, with infection control team, a strange man inside and outside Shell Kjelleveien, writes the Sør-Øst police district on Twitter.

– He annoyed customers and said he had a crown, touched items and coughed around him. It is not known if the neighbor in his 60s will end up in detention or with the health service today.

A few minutes later, the police report on Twitter that the man has been expelled from the scene.

Police operations manager Trond-Egil Groth says they don’t know if the man was actually infected or not:

– No, we can’t check it that fast. It does not work. Police were wearing infection control equipment and he was removed from the scene, Groth told Nettavisen.

– Do you want to say something more about that assessment?

– No, it is the patrol that has done it, so there is only one message for us here in the operations center. I don’t know the details, he says.
