Colleague Emil Skoglund, who is elected representative, confirms the challenge with queues for the ambulance service. According to him, things have improved in recent weeks.

Skoglund says that his colleagues have been redirected two or three times before leaving the patient.

Before the weekend, it was decided that all priority ambulances should be dispatched to Karolinska Hospital in Huddinge, which has a larger capacity than the other hospitals, Expressen writes.
But instead, Skoglund claims the pressure was enormous.
– Huddinge emergency personnel nurses were crying. Ambulances were everywhere. We didn’t get a seat in the ambulance room. We are prepared for this and we must trust that decision makers have a complete picture of the capacity of hospitals. I think they do what they can.
Use all resources
Health Director Björn Eriksson in the Stockholm region admits to Expressen that there is a tense situation in all hospitals.
He emphasizes that ambulances will not be diverted any longer than is absolutely necessary.
