Torgeir Børven’s time in Rosenborg is over.
The 28-year-old is ready for the club in the Turkish capital Ankaragücü, making him a teammate of former Bodø / Glimt player Ricardo Friedrich.
TV 2 may experience that Rosenborg receives between 2.2 and 2.8 million crowns for the striker. The contract will last for two years, and the club has the opportunity to extend it for a third year if it so wishes.

Ankaragücü finished last in the table last season, but due to the coronavirus they had to maintain their place at the highest level.
This will be Børven’s second stay abroad. In 2014 it was sold to Twente, but after three years it returned to Norway. He never fully met the people of Bergen, but when the old Odd club brought him back, he let loose for the forward.
According to the plan, Børven would become a Rosenborg player on August 1, but the people of Trøndelag decided to terminate him from the contract, which made Børven a RBK player on July 1.
Telemarksavisa later reported that Rosenborg had paid around NOK 2.5 million for the striker.
The stay in Trondheim was not as the top scorer in the Elite Series had imagined last year. Vestlendingen is ahead after four goals in 13 league games for the club.
