The Duchess says the conversations were referred to her by Prince Harry and that there are conversations that members of the royal family have had with him. The prince also assures that these conversations have taken place, but does not want to give more details.

Buckingham Palace did not comment on the allegations in the interview.

The interview aired on CBS, and is the couple’s first interview since they announced just over a year ago that they had resigned from their royal duties.

On Monday night, the interview is broadcast on TV 3 and Viaplay in Norway.

In the interview, Oprah Winfrey asks if Duchess Meghan, who revealed she was pregnant in February, knows the gender of her new child.

– Yes, we do, but I’ll wait to tell it until my husband comes, Meghan replies.

When Prince Harry arrives later in the interview, Winfrey asks again.

– You can say that, Meghan tells Prince Harry.

– It’s a girl, he says and smiles.

– The deadline is this summer, says Meghan.

The couple’s first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was born in May 2019.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot at St George’s Chapel in Windsor in May 2018.

In November of last year, The New York Times published a text written by Markle, in which it said that she had suffered a miscarriage in June of the same year.

– Archie got no security

In the interview, Duchess Meghan also talks about the drama surrounding the birth of her son Archie.

– Since he did not get the title of prince, we were told that Archie had no security routines around him, he says and adds:

– You must be safe. We have not created this monster of clickbaits and tabloids, you have made this happen and therefore we must have security guards around us.

Archie is number seven in the line of succession to the British throne.

– It was not our decision, she says, and denies that Prince Harry wanted his son not to get the title.

Archie will be named Prince and His Royal Highness when his grandfather, Prince Charles, becomes king.
