The Welsh authorities are pushing the big button and shutting down the entire community for two weeks.
As of Friday, all Welsh people without socially critical jobs will be required to stay home. Pubs, restaurants, cafes and hotels are closed.
Hair salons, hair salons, and all non-food stores are closed.
Mouthpieces should be used at all times in public places that are not enclosed, including public transportation and taxis.
Meetings both outdoors and indoors with people you do not live with are prohibited. Halloween and the popular Bonfire Night will not be allowed.
Community centers, libraries and landfills will be closed. All religious gatherings close their doors, except for weddings and funerals.
At the same time, adults living alone or single parents can partner with another family for support.
FOLDERS: All people traveling in public spaces in Wales must wear a blindfold.
These are probably the most stringent national measures introduced in Europe since March.
Several countries have introduced similar measures, but it is at the regional level. The measures replace the 17 local closures that have been introduced in the country previously.
Already more than two million Welsh live on local measures. These new rules apply throughout Wales.
– Our intensive care units are already full. This is a short, sharp blow to turn back the clock, slow the virus and buy more time, Prime Minister Mark Drakeford said.
It also announced a £ 300 million crisis package to help businesses.

The reason for the drastic measures is an overloaded healthcare system, according to Drakeford.
– We have no easy options ahead as the virus continues to spread rapidly through Wales. Without these measures, health care will not stay afloat and even more will die, Drakeford said during Monday’s press conference.
He said the two weeks of closure will give authorities precious time to broaden the trail of the infection and speed up plans for field hospitals.
On Monday, Wales reported 950 new cases. At the beginning of the month, they only had 400, according to Reuters.

So far, more than 1,700 people have died and more than 35,000 have tested positive. There are many in a country with just under three million inhabitants.
By comparison, Norway has just over 16,000 cases of infection among our more than five million people.
Opposition leader Paul Davies in the Conservative Party said the shutdown was disproportionate.
“The Welsh authorities must be honest that this road they are leading us down will mean even more national closures,” Davies told Sky News.
– This is not a two week break to resolve the pandemic, we will likely see regular closings for the rest of the year.
