– Joe & The Juice has had a customer relationship with ISS at a couple of outlets. Unfortunately, over time a situation has built up where Joe & The Juice owe ISS an amount that has not been settled as supposed, writes communications director Ronny Pettersen in an email to E24 on Thursday, writes the website.

The bankruptcy application must be processed at the Oslo City Sheriff’s Office on December 18.

Pettersen says, according to E24, that the company is in dialogue with Joe & The Juice about the case and believes this will be resolved before long.

Joe & The Juice has struggled with results since its inception in 2013. According to the company’s annual report, the company ended last year with a pre-tax profit of minus NOK 14.5 million, despite record turnover of NOK 128.8 million.

The company also writes in the annual report that the corona crisis has negatively affected the company in 2020.

– We are surprised to read about the bankruptcy petition in the Norwegian and Danish media regarding our Norwegian business. There is no basis for bankruptcy and our operating activities in Norway are healthy. We are disappointed in this case as it creates unnecessary insecurity among our employees and partners, stated in a message Joe & The Juice sent out on Friday afternoon.

Here it is pointed out that the company has a dispute with ISS of the order of NOK 40,000 and is discussing the work carried out.

– Our attorney is in contact with the ISS attorney to resolve the situation, writes Joe & The Juice in the message.(Terms)Copyright Dagens Næringsliv AS and / or our suppliers.
