Child (13) seriously injured in Oslo – asks for car – VG

The boy was hit by a car on Thursday night east of Oslo. The driver of the car fled the scene.

This is confirmed by operations manager Steinar Bjerke in the police to VG.

– He is a 13-year-old boy who has been run over by what is possibly a black BMW, he tells VG at 8:00 p.m.

The boy is seriously injured and has been taken to Ullevål hospital. Family members have been notified. The accident occurred in Haugenstua, east of Oslo.

– No one has been arrested and so far we have no control over the driver. We are working with various leads and have obtained video from various sources, reports Police Task Chief Rune Hekkelstrand at 9:50 PM.

Just after 10:30 p.m., the police start the session Twitter who have completed work at the accident site and are not sure which model escaped from the scene.

He says police have obtained video from surveillance cameras in the area. They also want to have contact with witnesses.

The police first reported the accident. Twitter Thursday at 7.15pm.

– The car hit the boy at an intersection in the direction of Grorud on the Maria Dehli road, and then the boy was thrown into another car coming from the opposite direction, says the leader of the task.

According to the assignment manager, Hekkelstrand, there is a pedestrian zone on the site, but the accident does not currently appear to have occurred in or near the pedestrian zone.

– Could have been an electric car

The police are in control of the driver of the other car. Bjerke further says that the car that struck the boy for the first time has fled the scene and that police are now looking for it.

– We have now completed the active search for the car in question, the police write in a to update at 8:43 p.m.

Several witnesses have been questioned on the spot, but the police want to contact other people who may have seen the accident or have information such as the case.

At 6.30 pm writes Police that “witnesses to the incident explained that the car he was driving over the victim was silent.” They believe that “this may indicate that it could have been an electric car.”

Also, they write that they are not sure what kind of car it really was, but that it should have a black color.

In an update on Twitter The police write that some of the witnesses are minors who will now be followed and treated by health personnel.
