The “S brand sour foam” candy is being recalled after a metal wire was found in a bag.
The Norwegian Food Safety Authority reports this on their website.
The product is sold in various supermarket chains in Norway, but the metal wire was found in Sweden, says Candy People to Nationen CEO Tommy Wikmark.
He states that they do not believe that the metal wires have ended up in several bags, but that for safety they have removed the entire batch that was produced that day.
– We assume that this metal wire is part of a machine. We have submitted bags for analysis and are waiting for a response, says Wikmark.
