The director of the National Institute of Public Health, Camilla Stoltenberg (62), rises from 20th place last year to ninth this year on the Capital list of the 100 most powerful women in Norway.

“Stoltenberg has enough to hang his fingers as the top manager of the nation’s largest knowledge institution for public health. This position has not lost importance after the appearance of the corona pandemic, where the FHI advice is decisive for the infection control measures of the authorities (…), ”Kapital writes in his justification.

In May, Norstat, on behalf of ABC News, asked 1,056 Norwegians who they thought had “excelled positively during the crown crisis.” Then 18 percent answered Stoltenberg. However, it was Espen Nakstad who people thought had stood out more positively.
