Oslo Police reported a very serious traffic accident at Haugenstua in Oslo shortly before 7.30pm on Thursday.

– We received a message from AMK that a pedestrian had been hit by two cars. Witnesses have explained that a black car, probably a BMW SUV, sped past the person. Then the car ran off, says operations manager Line Scott.

– The pedestrian was thrown into the air and then hit by another car. The person in question is seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to Ullevål, continues the director of operations.

Police say CPR was performed at the scene.

Many resources

Later, the police declared that the injured person is a boy in his 20s.

– Parents have been notified. There are some minor witnesses to the incident, they will be followed and treated by health, the police write.

The driver of the other car is questioned on the spot.

The police are heavily searching for the driver of the first car.

– This is a very serious incident and we have many resources searching the area. We highly encourage the driver to sign up, says Scott.

Ask for advice

The police ask people who have seen the wanted car to get in touch.

– If someone has observed a black car at high speed, which could possibly be a BMW SUV, we want the person in question to contact the police on 02800, says the operations manager.

The car may have damage to the front.

The patrols question several witnesses at the scene and work to secure the scene. Police will also collect video surveillance in the area.
