Consumer credit bank Komplett Bank had credit losses of NOK 132.2 million in the first quarter. This includes a loss provision of NOK 50 million related to the uncertainty surrounding the crown pandemic.
In comparison, the consumer credit bank had a credit loss of NOK 72.3 million in the same period last year. However, there is an improvement from the fourth quarter when the loss was NOK 221.7 million.
The operating loss was negatively affected by the loss of the loan and ended at NOK 61.4 million for the quarter. This is slightly more than NOK 40 million less than in 2019. After tax, the result was NOK 45.9 million, a decrease of NOK 76.4 million.
Net interest income was NOK 285.9 million, up from NOK 264.1 million in the same quarter last year.
Net loan growth of NOK 326 million was largely related to weak NOK. Adjusted for currency effects, the company experienced a decrease in net loans of NOK 189 million.
