Incoming US President Biden accuses the Trump administration of setting up what he calls “roadblocks” to his new administration.

He believes that political leadership in the Pentagon’s defense ministry in particular has hampered the work to seize power.

The statement came Monday night, when he spoke to the press in the city of Wilmington.

– The truth is that the agencies that are critical to our security have suffered enormous damage. Many are eroded in terms of staff, capacity and morale, Biden said.

Confusion benefits enemies

According to Biden, his transition team will not receive the information they need, neither from the Pentagon nor from the Office of Management and Budget.

– It’s nothing short of irresponsible, said Biden, who warned that this could go beyond the safety of Americans.

“It makes it more difficult for our administration to protect the American people,” he continued.

Biden fears that if his team doesn’t get a full picture of the budget process at the Defense Ministry, it could create confusion that America’s enemies could exploit.

Refuses to acknowledge the choice

In early December, Biden’s team made similar allegations that the Pentagon was not giving them the information they needed.

The Pentagon then responded that it had already conducted 163 interviews and responded to 181 requests for information.

Joe Biden will be sworn in as president of the United States on January 20, after winning the election on November 3.

Current President Donald Trump still refuses to acknowledge electoral defeat. It’s also unclear whether he will attend the opening ceremony in January.
