After the prosecution in the Bertheussen case sued for two years in prison, development assistance attorney Hermann Skard dropped the NOK 5,000 claim in compensation to Ingvil Smine’s Tybring-Gjedde. The claim was known in advance, but Skard gave his reasons for the claim.
As the former Minister of Social Security sat next to him, Skard reviewed the relationship between his client and Laila Bertheussen.
– Ingvil Smine’s Tybring-Gjedde showed empathy, showed sympathy for Bertheussen. She tried to support her and help her through a difficult situation after the attacks on her home, Skard said, emphasizing that Tybring-Gjedde invited Bertheussen to dinner at home, which she openly told about her sick leave due to the play “Ways of Seeing “, and that he invited her to the Hækaveh chat group.
– All this kindness, all this empathy was met with a fist, and it is aggravating. It is offensive to behave in this way, Skard said, adding that after the indictment, Bertheussen sent a threatening letter that the couple received on February 5 last year.
The representative of the Storting, Christian Tybring-Gjedde, is also offended in the case, but has not claimed compensation after the threats.
