Armed police are searching for a perpetrator west of Glomma in Elverum for a report of a stabbing at a private address.
A woman is said to have been stabbed by an 18-year-old man, says Innlandet Police District Operations Manager Haagen Løvseth.
He may be wearing a stolen military uniform. Police are asking residents in the area to stay indoors and close doors and windows.
The offender is believed to be mentally unstable.

The injured woman was sent to hospital with stab wounds to the neck region. Løvseth says the stabbing appears to be random.
– The police were earlier last night and today they have been looking for someone who has had a strange behavior. We suspect he stole a uniform from the Terningmoen military camp last night.
He says they have a suspicion about who the person may be, but can’t say for sure yet.
– It is very serious, in addition to the possibility of more happening, since we do not know where it is. We are not familiar with why, says Løvseth.
Police have no information that there are other weapons in the image.
NRK journalists on the site are asked to leave, as the perpetrator may still be on the site.
A source at the scene says the woman who was stabbed was found on the ground in her garden.
The 110 exchange does not want to comment on the incident, but they are also on the site.
