– The search is still ongoing in the Fornebu / Snarøya area. We have received several reports of people allegedly robbed after the party that took place at the Halden pier, says COO Vidar Pedersen in the Oslo police district.

The Oslo police have received reports of fighting and damage at Halden Pier in Snarøya. Pedersen confirms to NRK that there are between 200 and 300 youth at the site.

Shortly before 10 pm, the police announced that they had had to arm themselves after reports of shots being fired at a car.

– Unclear situation on the site, they write.

Broken car windows

NRK has been in contact with neighbors near Halden Pier, who say that various groups of young people came during the night. There must have been no people living on Snarøya.

– We noticed that there was noise and that they were trying to enter our property. But they did not behave in a threatening manner when spoken to, says one of the neighbors.

They tell of a car’s broken windows and chaotic conditions before the police arrived.

– When we hear this, it’s not pleasant. We live on an island, with an entrance and an exit. It’s disgusting, says the neighbor.

– Multiple rescue victims

NRK has been in contact with the operations center in the Oslo police district, which says the situation is very chaotic at the scene and there have been unconfirmed reports of shootings.

Police have also come into contact with three different rescue victims, according to Pedersen. Among them are a girl who is said to have had a mobile phone and “hearing aids” stolen, and a group of children who were reportedly threatened. Another victim has been contacted by the police after suffering a robbery.

According to Operations Manager Vidar Pedersen, it must have been local residents who reported the matter to the police.

Have car inspected

Police are still armed with reports of shooting. Pedersen says they have not received a final clarification on whether or not it has been shot.

– But the patrol that on the spot has looked at it and says there are damages in the car, and it is conceivable that it is compatible with wounds from a fine-caliber weapon bullet.
