Take care of the employee
No one was injured in the robbery or during the arrest.
Marketing and operations manager Erlend Føleide at St1 tells NRK that a professional apparatus has been deployed to take care of the employee who was at work when the theft occurred.
Also, Føleide says that all of its stations are burglar-proof. He doesn’t want to delve into what’s in it, but he says that the safety of his employees at work has his entire focus.
– We do everything possible to ensure that they are not exposed to these types of incidents.
– Considering that Shell stations in Troms have been exposed to theft before, do you think employees feel unsafe at work?
– I don’t have the impression of that. We constantly focus on this and take concrete initiatives. We recently held an HSE week where the theme was “Safe at Work.” Among other things, employees received training in conflict management.
The Shell station is closed for the moment. Føleide says they hope the station can reopen in the morning.
