More than a million Norwegians have seen Maskorama over the weekend, according to NRK.
1,045,000 viewed the live stream linearly. 62,000 have watched the broadcast online. This gives a market share of 71.2 percent, the broadcaster says in a press release.
– It’s absolutely fantastic with another album. The numbers speak for themselves to a great extent, this is something that catches. These are numbers on par with the national final of the Melodi Grand Prix, says NRK media analyst Marcus Fredheim.
“Maskorama” song by song
A month has passed since Norway was put to bed by the “Maskorama” guessing show, where viewers and a detective panel consisting of Jan Thomas, Marion Ravn and Nicolai Ramm will attempt to reveal a pair of masked singers.
Also this Saturday, a new identity would be revealed, and three participants will each receive their final ticket. “The Raven” did not advance to the final, and had to reveal his identity. Behind the mask was the journalist and television profile Anne Rimmen.
Dagbladet previously confronted Rimmen with rumors that she was part of the show, but later refused to have anything to do with the concept.
