The man charged in the Hagen case is not being prosecuted in custody Saturday. Defender attorney Dag Svensson believes the man in his 30s will be released.
– The law states that defendants in custody, as soon as the third day, and not later, must appear in court with a request for custody. Today is the third day.
Svensson responds to Aftenposten if he believes the client, charged with murder or complicity in the murder of Anne-Elisabeth Hagen, will be released on Saturday.
The defender has already declared in an SMS to NTB that it will not be a meeting in prison, but an interrogation.
The defender claims that the interrogation is scheduled to begin at 12 noon on Saturday.
Active in web forums
The defendant was arrested in Oslo on Thursday night. The man rejects the criminal charges, his advocate told NTB. The defendant also confirmed that his client has some sort of relationship with Tom Hagen, who was previously charged with murder or complicity in the murder of his wife, Anne-Elisabeth Hagen.
In a web forum that VG has tracked, the defendant addresses the issue of untraceable cryptocurrency and places it in the context of criminal acts, including kidnapping.
In connection with the disappearance of Anne-Elisabeth Hagen, a claim by alleged hijackers of € 9 million in ransom was paid in the monero crypto currency.
I’d grab the garden again
State prosecutor Kirsti Guttormsen confirms to NRK that the police investigation team wanted to arrest Tom Hagen when he was released from Oslo prison on Friday afternoon. Did not approve of the State Attorney.

NRK attorneys have been in contact with them, saying that a new arrest had to occur as a result of new evidence.
– It is an important principle that the tax authority must follow the decisions of the court. And then, depending on the circumstances, I thought it was okay not to arrest him immediately after release, Guttormsen tells NRK.
The garden was picked up in Oslo prison by its defender Svein Holden around 5.30pm on Friday after the prosecution’s appeal was rejected in the Supreme Court.
– Concern
Holden informed NTB on Saturday morning that he had not been in contact with Hagen after his release on Friday.

He also had no contact with the police and was not expecting any further questioning this weekend. NTB was unable to reach Holden after the police arrest request was released.
– I have two things to say about this: first, I am concerned that the investigative management has made that decision. Second, it assures me that there is an active public prosecutor in the case who makes sure that the police relate to what I think is the correct law, he tells Dagbladet.
Holden informs NRK that the police have decided on a third party transaction at Sloraveien 4 and the property at Kvitfjell.
