Just over a year ago, “Love Island” couple Andrea Sveinsdottir (25) and Morten Dalhaug (27) were able to reveal to Dagbladet that they had bought their first apartment together, and that they would become cohabiting.
Over the past year, his social media followers have participated in several rounds of renewal, but now it’s over. This week Sveinsdottir says they have now chosen to sell the property in Kristiansand.
– We love the apartment and have enjoyed the location and everything, he explains to Dagbladet on Thursday afternoon.
It is true that the couple will live in southern Norway, but feel that it is time to “update” a little.
– We know we could think of something a little bigger, get off the block and get our own garden plot, says Sveinsdottir.
Only a few months ago, the couple that lived together expanded their family when they reunited the Trulte puppy. Now they would like to give the puppy his own outdoor area.
– It would have been lovely, says the television profile later.
New housing requirements
Although the apartment is already for sale, the couple has not found a new home. They have begun to look around, but they will take their time and find a home that they can have for many years.
– We are looking for at least three bedrooms where one can become a dressing room, a guest room, and then we will have an additional room, a garage or a storage room for the gym, says Sveinsdottir about what they are looking for.
In addition to his own garden, the 25-year-old will have a bathroom.
Therefore, home sales and purchases are on the plan for the duo, but Sveinsdottir is also set for other important steps in the relationship.
– We are doing very well, and I suggest daily that they give me a ring in a couple of years, he jokes.
When the couple bought their first apartment, they took over on April 1. At the time, he was wondering if the purchase was a solid Innocent, which they quickly rejected against Dagbladet.
– It will be good to start everyday life a little more. We have lived in each of our bags for the past six months, so it will be nice to let go, Sveinsdottir said when they took over the department last year.
Special love story
It has been over a year and a half since the couple met on television. Previously, the 25-year-old revealed that it was special to find love on screen.
– It is very nice to be able to look back on our trip, from the first time we met and until we became lovers. I still cry every time I watch the final episode where Morten asks if we should stay together, he said, and continued:
Dagbladet Plus
– We also met in a different way than one often becomes in 2018. We had no phones or distractions: we actually had to talk and be together 24 hours a day. We also slept together for about a month without doing anything sexual, which may also be a bit unusual today, but I really think it’s very positive.
