– With the assistance of a lawyer, we have filed a complaint in which we have documented, among other things, how much work a week and what crown regime we have actually lived in the last year. Justine Vanhaevermaet had to go home to her family in Belgium after one of her teammates collected some of her belongings in Lillestrøm. It is not known when he will return to Norway.

– What can solve the case is that you apply for permanent relocation and are registered in Norway. But we still do not know if it can be solved from Belgium or if it must be presented physically at the tax office in Lillestrøm. If it’s that stiff, then there’s no hope, says May Gulbrandsen.

The last time he had contact with Vanhaevermaet was on Sunday and he had no good news to bring.

– It’s depressing for Justine. But we have not given up, he says.

– I have my address in Belgium because I have a house there. That is why they detained me. I hadn’t thought of it as a problem, as I rent an apartment in Lillestrøm and have a work permit. In December we were in Minsk and then everything went well. I realize I should have thought about it, but since we traveled together as a team, I didn’t, says Vanhaevermaet. To Romerikes Blad.
