Karen Elene Thorsen, better known as the woman behind the username “poor.student,” has established herself as a food influencer on Instagram.

On the profile, he shares food tips and at the time of writing he has 231,000 followers.

Last year she published the book “Poor Student”, and now the 23-year-old is not so poor anymore. The book currently has a circulation of 70,000, and DN wrote earlier this fall that Thorsen earned just under 2.5 million crowns last year.

Now he has plans to invest even more.

In August, it launched the Hungry app. Here, users get access to weekly menus and cooking tips for cheap money.

This is also where it is now making a broadcast, which will finance version number two of the application, which will also be available on Android.

Before the financing, it was Thorsen himself who owned all the shares in Sulten as. In the capital raising round, the price per share was set at NOK 2 and a total of 1.2 million shares were put up for sale.
