The company, which has around NOK 60 billion in total assets, is the largest acquisition fund in Norway. The company specializes in investments in the oil and gas industry, and last year CEO Ole Ertvaag told Dagens Næringsliv that he had received a clear message from his investors to invest in renewable energy. Now the sum is ready.

Over the next 24 months, we will invest around NOK 30 billion in the renewable sector, Ertvaag told the newspaper.

In addition to the 30 billion billion in renewables, there are NOK 20 billion reserved for investments in upstream oil and gas companies.
