On Saturday night, the Innlandet police district confirmed that a man in his 20s from Drammen died after the traffic accident on the national road 3 in Stor-Elvdal on Thursday afternoon.
The man is the second to lose his life after the collision; a woman also lost her life after the collision.
Died on saturday
On Friday afternoon, the Innlandet police district confirmed that it was Marie Myrset Skinnemoen, 20, from Lier, on the outskirts of Drammen, who had died.
Operations manager Dyre Antonsen told NTB Saturday night that police were notified that the man had died on Saturday, but did not know when he died.
– The man was admitted to the Oslo University Hospital Ullevål, says Antonsen.
Emergency services were notified of the collision between a truck and a car in Stor-Elvdal between Rasta and Opphus at 4:58 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Will conduct interrogations
Apart from the two who died, there were two other people in the car. Antonsen says he knows nothing about the condition of these people.
Police write in Saturday night’s press release that they have conducted all necessary investigations at the crash site. Later in the investigation, the police will conduct technical vehicle investigations.
Interrogations will also be carried out on those involved in the accident.
Accident
The accident occurred when a car, heading south, lunged, turned and collided with an approaching truck in front.
The other three people in the car were initially described by the Innlandet Police District as seriously, seriously, and moderately injured, respectively.
The trailer driver recovered from the accident without serious injury, but was sent to the emergency room for a checkup.
