Chelsea took the lead, but then Thiago Silva received a red card. That was just the beginning of adversity.
CHELSEA – WEST BROMWICH 2-5:
Manager Thomas Tuchel’s strong home statistics with Chelsea in the Premier League exploded as he sang against the last team West Bromwich on Saturday.
Before the arrangement, the German coach could be shown five matches in a row on his own turf without setbacks. It would be a full 674 minutes before the blue-clad defensive wall began to crack. Proper cracks.

West Bromwich has not charmed many with their football in the season back to the highest level, neither with Sam Allardyce nor with his predecessor Slaven Bilic.
But the football that the West Midlands canary-colored Albion gang invented at Stamford Bridge probably astonished most critics.
It is true that the WBA ended up behind goal control in London as per recipe. But the outlook for the game changed completely after Thiago Silva was sent off without a head after half an hour of play.

Coote showed no mercy to Silva and resolutely showed Chelsea’s experienced midfielder off the field. The dismissal came just after Christian Pulisic overtook the locals, on a lap after a Marcos Alonso free-kick that hit the post.

West Bromwich also had a fight in the first half. Chelsea veteran stopper Branislav Ivanovic (37) had to replace Dara O’Shea, 15 years younger, mid-inning.
Mannefall
The latter was injured after being tackled by teammate Matt Phillips.
After just 13 minutes on the field, Ivanovic also had to leave the pitch. He sat down after a racing duel against Werner. The Serbian appeared to have suffered a hamstring injury after avoiding an opportunity against Chelsea’s German forward.
In the second extra minute, Matheus Pereira and the WBA used the lead to score the first away goal against Chelsea under Tuchel’s lead. And the visiting striker was nothing less than another goal before the break.
Sam Allardyce’s men were messing him up on a home team post early in the second half. Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone didn’t impress on the field, but luckily for the recent England goalkeeper, a teammate controlled Alonso’s attempts on and off.
