TELEVISION: Agnete Saba was the main guest of the evening in “Every time we meet”. The 26-year-old made his way into the junior Melodi Grand Prix with the band The BlackSheeps. Since then, he has released music on his own and represented Norway at “Eurovision” with the song “Icebreaker”.

Stian Thorbjørnsen: “Gold Jáska Beana”

There is a lot of weight in the interpretation, but something is missing in the vocal fine motor skills, if you can call it that? There will probably be a lot of yelling and screaming, which means that the touch in the song wears off a bit. But it is a good way to bring life to body and soul, at least.
Hanne Krogh: “Mom”
Much funkier than this, I doubt anyone has seen Hanne Krogh before. It is also the first time he has sung in English this season. In general, it’s fun to see her step out of her comfort zone a bit, literally.
There are both dance moves here and a higher tempo than we are used to from that edge. It also fits very well. Not magical, but fun.
Arne Hurlen: “Behind the Cloud”
Making “wooden grab rocks” can also be an art. Arne says he hasn’t done anything with lyrics and melody, but he doesn’t have to. He has so much signature in what he does that it becomes very personal nonetheless.
The simplicity can be absolutely top-notch and the direct message in the song takes on a holistic and pleasing frame in Arne’s grip, though not directly sensational.
Maria Mena: «Going crazy»
Agnete says it very well even after Maria’s performance. – For a firework, for a vocal performance. There is no doubt that Maria is a God fearing singer and created to sing emotionally charged ballads with a lot of power and energy in them.
It’s intense and overwhelming in a good way. And although she has not written the text herself, it seems that she speaks from the heart.
Trygve Skaug: “Icebreaker”
Agnete herself says that she has bad feelings associated with this song. This does not mean that you do not deserve to be promoted. He should have gotten a lot better treatment than he got on “Eurovision.” In Trygve Skaug’s embrace, he takes on another dimension.
The light jazz approach gives it some very nice sentimental qualities, backed up by a beautiful trumpet performance. Penalty fee.
Hkeem: “Beginning of the end”
Hkeem creates a dance atmosphere in the run-up to tonight’s show. It is simple and effective. Hkeem has a warmth to his voice that really stands out here.
In addition, it has a personality and presence that is transmitted both to the rest of the guests and through the television screen. Simply brilliant.
