After a long and heated election campaign, Joe Biden has chosen to mention his predecessor Donald Trump as little as possible since he was installed as president.
During the inaugural address on January 20, Biden made sure not to mention Trump even once, but instead focused on the promise to “unite America.” In an interview with CBS News, the president shows different rhythms.
– Unpredictable behavior
In the interview, Biden is asked if he thinks Trump should have access to classified intelligence reports, as resigned presidents often do. Biden is clear that his predecessor should not enjoy the same privileges as other former presidents.
– I do not think so. Based on his erratic behavior, regardless of the assault on Congress, says Biden.
Trump’s role in Congress has come under fire and the Supreme Court case against the resigned president will begin next week. However, Biden points out that Trump, regardless of this, is unfit to receive the reports.

O’Donnell then asks Biden what he fears will happen if Trump continues to receive intelligence reports.

Pessimistic about the minimum wage
In the interview, Biden also discusses the economic crisis package that will help a crown-stricken America. As part of the rescue package, the president proposed raising the minimum wage to $ 15 an hour.
– No one should work 40 hours a week and live below the poverty line. And if you make less than $ 15 an hour, then you live below the poverty line, says the president.
Biden, for his part, does not believe this proposal will pass the Senate.
