Before filming this summer, he told VG that he did not intend to cry on television. In tonight’s episode, however, he is impressed by various elements and he opens up about his close relationship with his mother.

Hkeem experienced sudden success with the song “Fy faen” in 2017. It went straight to the top of the VG chart and later received the Spellemann Award for Song of the Year and a Newcomer of the Year nomination.
The following year, in 2018, there was another Spellemann Award for Video of the Year (“Ghetto Parasite”) alongside director Thor Brenne. Tonight it is María Mena who performs the anti-racist song.
Hkeem himself has so far performed “Home for Christmas” when Maria Mena was the star of the show. Last week he came up with his rendition of the “Staysmans” song “Home to You.”
While the others drink wine and beer between song performances, Hkeem sticks to mineral water. He has always been a teetotaler and has never touched a drop of alcohol.
– The others thought it was fascinating to hear that he had never drunk, but otherwise nothing great was done about it, Hkeem tells VG.
