There is no reason to leave wool clothes next week.
It’s been cold in several places this week, and on Friday the Meteorological Institute wrote the following on Twitter:
– Brrrrrr … Last night was terribly cold! Here are the observations from earlier today. The cold will also be with us during the weekend, but it will be a little less cold in the next few days.
However, just a few hours later, they arrived with a counter message.
– Huttemegtu, here it was blue! The winter weather appears to be tightening its claws in the coming days, that is, and the cold will continue for at least another week, they read on Twitter.
Number of degrees less than two digits
On Saturday, the Meteorological Institute confirms that there will be super underwear weather in the coming weeks.
– Time will be like now. It’s cold, especially Østafjells. In the lower areas and towards the center, the temperature can reach 15 degrees below zero. Indoors it can be as low as minus 30 degrees. At least there will be plenty of sun, and it’s a flash of light, state duty meteorologist Eldbjørg Moxnes tells Nettavisen.

Otherwise, the weather will remain stable with no major disturbances next week.
– There will be little action across the country, says the state meteorologist.
Rare weather phenomenon
The cold of recent days has also brought out a beautiful side. The Ziegner couple recently discovered a rare weather phenomenon at Manglerud in Oslo
– We’ve never seen this before. At first we wondered if they were floodlights or something, then we thought it might be the Northern Lights. It was an amazing sight. We were upset, because it was so special, Marianne Ziegner told Nettavisen.
The sea
These suddenly appeared in the night sky: – We were completely off
The observed Ziegner pair is a rare meteorological phenomenon. It is not often that you see such columns of light in the sky.
– It occurs because the light from streetlights or similar is reflected and refracted by snow crystals. Snow crystals are part of an ice fog, and then there are columns or pillars of light, as we call it. Lately we have had very cold air from Lake Mjøsa, which is also a source of humidity. This creates ice, says the state meteorologist.
