Norwegian Janne is Senator to the USA:

As senators in Washington, DC debate whether Trump should be ousted, Janne Myrdal is in budget negotiations at the state senate in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Myrdal, who grew up in Telemark, is a senator from North Dakota’s 10th district. Unlike some separatist Republicans, she still supports the incumbent president.

– I think the Supreme Court case is childish. The claim that he encouraged people to break into the Congress building and devastate is just plain nonsense. Have you heard the speech he gave that was somehow so bad? I mean, did you really hear what he said? There is no direct call for violence there, Myrdal says, referring to Trump’s speech on Capitol Hill on January 6 of this year.

Here you can read the transcript of the speech.

– Suspicious election result

In that speech, Trump reiterated the accusation of widespread voter fraud, an accusation that has been rejected by multiple courts through more than 60 lawsuits.

Trump Pressured Georgia Election Officials To “Find” Votes

Myrdal admits that Trump “has behaved strangely in recent months,” but says various aspects of the electoral process were suspect, noting that the counting of votes in six auspicious states allegedly took a break on election night. This claim is also disputed by election administrators in Wisconsin, Nevada and Michigan, as well as by Reuters fact-checkers.

– Was it electoral fraud that decided that Biden now install himself as president? I don’t know and we probably never will. People at home in Norway should know in any case that the US courts, which have rejected the demands, are not politically independent, Myrdal says, adding that he finds it hard to believe that “a candidate as bad as Biden got more. of 80 million votes ».

If the presidential election was not stolen directly from the American people, Myrdal believes there has been foul play behind the scenes. She is particularly outraged by what she describes as an unfortunate alliance between the press and the tech giants, on the one hand, and democratic politicians, on the other.

– Voter fraud is not just about ballots that are placed in the polls. The way the big tech companies sabotaged the New York Post story on Hunter Biden was embarrassing and shows that they are in the pocket of the Democratic Party. We do not have a free and independent press. After the election, the links between the tech giants and the Democrats have become even more obvious. Censoring a sitting president from Twitter is nowhere. What about freedom of expression?

Digital hate letters

Myrdal believes that the Norwegian media also has political overtones in their coverage of Trump, and again uses the adjective “childish” when describing the comments he now receives from people in the old country after the takeover of Congress.

American Expert on Republicans: – A Radical Party

– I understand that people have a bad impression of Trump when they read the Norwegian media. And I understand that, therefore, the people who support him don’t like me either. But the emails I’ve been getting lately have been silly.

Myrdal says that some call her a traitor and that they write that they are happy that she has moved from Norway. Others hit the keyboard keys even harder.

– Someone wrote that a good American was a dead American. I don’t know how you want to interpret it? Had he been elected in Norway, probably several of the emails would have been sent to the police.

Myrdal has lived under police protection before and says he doesn’t care about scary digital shots from across the Atlantic.

Congress assaulted: now they ask Trump for help

– I’m not laughing. I think it’s childish. It is also paradoxical that people who say they are against violence in DC respond in this way. I also get emails from great Norwegians who think they know everything about American politics, Trump and me. I also don’t bother spending so much time on them. There is a limit to what I can learn about American politics from people living at home in the basement living room in Norway.

– Trump is done

Myrdal says he has realized that Biden will be the 46th president of the United States, but has no plans to see the inauguration ceremony on January 20. She hopes that her new homeland faces a dark period.

– Biden is not ready in the top cap, and I think he will be a puppet. It is probably Kamala Harris and the deep forces of the Democratic Party who will pull the strings.

Myrdal believes that the Biden administration will be particularly devastating for his home state, where there are many farmers and oil workers.

The future administration will destroy agriculture and the energy sector with Green New Deal regulations, Myrdal says, referring to the climate plan that Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez introduced in 2019, which has otherwise met with adequate opposition. also internally in the Democratic Party.

Myrdal further predicts that Trump’s political career is coming to an end, adding that he believes former South Carolina Governor and US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley will be the Republican nominee in four years.

– Haley is a voracious woman with great support among Republicans. I believe in her Trump will not disappear, but I think he will do completely different things in the future. Perhaps you are starting a social media platform that takes up the fight against the left. It’s time.
