Nordland Police District Operations Manager Ivar Bo Nilsson informs VG that five people are missing after the fire.

– There were six of them last night. Of the six, we have counted one person, the one who came out and was notified of the fire. He is now in Stokmarknes hospital, says the director of operations.

– It is too early to enter the fire scene at this time. It’s very hot there and it needs to cool down. Fire crews and police are now on duty at the scene of the fire, says Bo Nilsson.

The police do not know the cause of the fire. Investigations will begin on the spot and will be questioned by witnesses and victims. A search is also being conducted around the cockpit.
