The House of Representatives is now voting whether to ask Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence, to implement the 25th Amendment.
While the vote is taking place, Vice President Mike Pence is known to have sent a letter to the Majority Leader in the House of Representatives, Democrat Nancy Pelosi.

In the letter, Pence writes that he will not activate the 25th constitutional amendment and will remove Trump.
– I do not believe that such action is in the best interest of our nation, nor do I believe that it is in line with the constitution, the vice president writes in the letter.
Furthermore, he writes that the mechanism should not be used as “punishment or theft.” He writes that it is intended for cases where “a president is medically or mentally incapable” to do the job.
The constitutional amendment gives the vice president a chance to topple incumbent President Donald Trump if he believes Trump is unfit to do his job.
In the letter, Pence emphasizes that the Trump administration is now working toward a peaceful transfer of power. He also calls on Pelosi and other members of Congress to “lower the tone and the temperature.”
Majority Leader Pelosi has demanded that the vice president obtain a majority from the administration to declare Trump “unfit” to lead the United States.
Trump on Supreme Court: – Absolutely ridiculous
Pence was not expected to topple Trump after the two, among other things, had a meeting at the White House on Monday.
According to the media, the two then had “a good conversation.” It was the first time the two had spoken together since the attack on Congress on Wednesday, January 6.
