Respect the decisions

According to a press release from Destinasjon Trysil, the hotel will be closed until January 11.

– We have developed good infection control routines, implemented and practiced the routines. No matter how well prepared we are, we are never protected against an outbreak during this pandemic, says hotel director at Radisson Blu Resort Trysil, Maria Åhgren, in the press release.

In addition, he says that they respect the decisions of the municipal superior and that they quickly implemented the necessary measures.

According to the press release, hotel guests can choose whether they want to go home or transfer to the Radisson Blu Mountain Resort Trysil, which is located on the other side of Trysilfjellet.

Guests from various municipalities

According to the municipal chief doctor, it is too early to say how extensive the outbreak will be.

– But with the closure of the hotel, we are now buying time to get an overview and control, says Rydløv.

The hotel has received guests from several municipalities, so the municipality of Trysil collaborates with the central infection detection team of the National Institute of Public Health.

As reported to NRK, guests now living in the hotel should have been informed that they must leave the hotel early tomorrow after breakfast.
