“Master of the Masters” and host Dag Erik Pedersen delivers. Once again. Each of the first two episodes of the show’s series was watched by more than 1.4 million viewers.
– I am sincerely proud of these audience figures, says Dag Erik Pedersen to VG.
Episode two was watched by 1,204,000 viewers linearly, and with 241,000 who had watched the show on NRK TV on Monday morning, NRK ends with 1,445,000 viewers. And the premiere program with a total of 1,403,000 viewers in total.
– After everything we’ve been through over the last year, I think “The Master of Masters” is a welcome break and a gathering place for the whole family, says Dag Erik Pedersen.

– These are just outrageous numbers, says NRK’s project editor for Champions of the Champions, Pia Basberg.

NRK’s chief analyst Kristian Tolonen is also brilliantly satisfied.
– We have simply run out of superlatives for a show that offers an audience as high as the Masters champion over and over again, Tolonen tells VG.
He goes on to say that we have to go back to the 2016 season to find similarly good linear viewership numbers on “Masters of the Masters.”
